Hike for Lung Health is a multi-charity walk and fun fest, held in Chicago’s Lincoln Park, that raises awareness and funds for lung disease. You can choose to walk one mile or three miles and then take advantage of family-friendly activities and entertainment at the Hike. You can Hike as a member of Respiratory Health Association’s team, form a team of your own, or raise funds for your favorite Charity Partner. Click on the links below to find additional information.
Hike Event Details
Check-in opens at 8:30 a.m. and the Hike for Lung Health steps off at 10:00 a.m. Once you’ve completed the walk, enjoy the activities and entertainment for kids of all ages including a bounce house, face painting, and craft tables while listening to great music provided by the event DJ. A featured entertainer will also perform.
Pre-registration is $15 and includes a Hike for Lung Health t-shirt, personal fundraising page, post-walk snacks and access to the after-walk activities. For those who register the day of the event, the cost is $20 and availability of t-shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed.

Virtual Walkers can take part in the event even if they are unable to attend on Sunday, September 16, 2018 but still want to join the fight against lung disease.

Leading a Pulmonary Rehabilitation Virtual Walk Team works well for many rehab groups. By incorporating Hike for Lung Health into weekly rehab sessions, patients experienced a new focus, extra incentive and a fun twist in their regular schedule.
