You never know who might donate. Log into your fundraising page, and click the red button that says “Start a Facebook Fundraiser.” It’s that simple!

Matching gifts are a type of philanthropy in which companies financially match donations that their employees make to nonprofit organizations. Search to see if a company has a Matching Gift Policy.

Tip: Ask your donors if they have a program through their own employer.

Make fundraising fun for your donors! Here are some some ideas to get started:

• Everyone who donates $10 gets to guess how many gumballs are in a jar. Whoever’s the closest wins the jar of gumballs.
• Promise to climb with another pound of weight for every $50 raised.
• Everyone who donates $10 gets to add a song to your training playlist.
• Tie it into your holiday or New Year’s eve party. Let people know you’re climbing and suggest that instead of bringing a bottle of wine or cookies, they donate to support your climb.

Share our mission and recent successes with your potential donors!

• RHA research programs fund local researchers as they study predictors, develop treatments, and seek cures for lung diseases including asthma, COPD and lung cancer.

• RHA health educators host programs to teach the public about lung health. Topics include the dangers of vaping, tobacco cessation, radon, Asthma Management, and Fight Asthma Now® for 3rd – 12th grade students.

• With the help of community volunteers, RHA has been influential in passing legislation for smoke-free environments, limiting the deadly air pollution generated by power plants and diesel vehicles, and protecting the right of children to carry life-saving asthma inhalers at school.

Each climber receives a specially designed commemorative medal, a Hustle Chicago stair climb event shirt, and bib.

To make the greatest impact, we encourage you to set your fundraising goal above the minimum requirement. Additional incentive prizes are offered as our thanks for your fundraising efforts.

To be eligible for incentive prizes, all donations/pledges/sponsorships must be received online or in RHA’s office by March 13, 2026. RHA reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal value.
