RHA Remembers Mobile Care Chicago CEO Matt Siemer
It is with heavy hearts that we remember Matt Siemer, CEO of Mobile Care Chicago, who passed away as a result of a tragic car accident over the weekend.
Mobile Care Chicago, and Matt himself, have been staunch supporters of Respiratory Health Association.
“Matt was a longtime and cherished partner to RHA and other asthma stakeholders across the state. We valued his insights and collaboration, welcomed his friendship, and will miss him deeply,” recalls Erica Salem, RHA Senior Director, Strategy, Programs and Policy.
In particular, Matt worked with RHA on the Chicago Coordinated Asthma Project. This initiative provides free asthma services for students and caregivers, increasing asthma awareness and access to comprehensive care to reduce symptoms, hospital and emergency visits, and missed school days. He also served on the board of the Chicago Asthma Coalition along with members of RHA staff.
“Through Matt’s leadership, Mobile Care Chicago was a longtime and deeply valued partner of the Chicago Coordinated Asthma Project. He was truly one of the kindest, most dedicated people I have ever worked with,” said Rachael Morkunas, Assistant Director, Programs and Policy.
Respiratory Health Association expresses its deep condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues as they mourn the loss of such an incredible person and public servant.
