About Us

Respiratory Health Association is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and has been a local public health leader since 1906. At that time, tuberculosis was a prominent health threat in our community. As health practices and treatments, medicines and environmental factors have evolved, so has RHA. Today we address asthma, COPD, lung cancer, tobacco control, COVID-19, and air quality with a comprehensive approach.

Together with our supporters, RHA is addressing challenging issues today as we prepare to face new obstacles in the future. As an association, individuals who make a contribution to RHA of $25 or more are considered members for the calendar year in which the donation is made, or the following year if gifts are received in November or December. Members receive an invitation to attend our annual membership meeting.
