Rachael Morkunas – Director of Programs and Policy
Rachael is excited to step into her new role as Director of Programs and Policy at Respiratory Health Association. As someone living with asthma, RHA’s mission has always been close to her heart, making this work deeply personal. Outside of work, she’s usually with her pup, Bruno, and with August around the corner, she’s busy harvesting tomatoes from her garden.
Brian Urbaszewski – Director, Environmental Health Programs
As Director of Environmental Health Programs, Brian advocates for good clean air policy, educates the public and decision makers and defends our legal rights to clean air. He likes clean renewable energy and zero-emission electric vehicles. He grew up and went to school in Chicago, with some time in Springfield and in Los Angeles too. He’s been with RHA for over 28 years, has a wonderful family, likes to bike and has two lazy cats.
McKenna Mason – Manager, Advocacy & Policy
As the Manager of Policy and Advocacy, McKenna tracks Illinois legislation, handles our policy priorities, and organizes all our advocacy activities. Originally from Missouri, McKenna moved to Chicago at the end of 2024 and couldn’t be happier. She can often be found running, reading, hanging out with her friends, or playing with her dog and 2 cats.
