Duane Morris’ Nicholas J. Lynn Elected to RHA Board of Directors

CHICAGO – July 9, 2025 – Respiratory Health Association (RHA) is pleased to announce the election of Nicholas J. Lynn to the Board of Directors. A registered pharmacist and licensed attorney with over 40 years of experience, Lynn brings a wealth of legal experience in pharmaceutical regulation, post‑acute care, and healthcare compliance to the RHA Board.

Over the past two decades, Lynn has been widely recognized as one of the best lawyers in America. He has authored over 25 publications and delivered over 170 presentations on healthcare law. Lynn served as immediate past-vice chair of Duane Morris’ national Health Law Practice Group, was a member of the firm’s Partners Board from 1999 to 2015, and remained a partner at Duane Morris from 1999-2021. He currently serves as Of Counsel, focusing his practice on pharmaceutical law.

“Having been associated with RHA for the past two plus decades, I am excited and honored to serve on the RHA Board and look forward to working with the other Board members to continue its mission and commitment to excellence,” said Lynn.

Prior to his private sector career, Lynn served as Division Chief and Assistant Chief Counsel at the Illinois Department of Public Health and Chief Counsel to the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board. He has been active in several professional organizations, including the American Pharmaceutical Association, Illinois Pharmacists Association, the American Health Care Association’s legal committee, and numerous boards for healthcare organizations.

Lynn received his undergraduate education at the Drake University College of Pharmacy before graduating from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second, Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Circuits; U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of Illinois; the Supreme Court of Illinois; and the Supreme Court of the United States.
