The Respiratory Health Association (RHA) is proud to announce that it has been recognized at the 66th Annual Golden Trumpet Awards for its impactful “WECARE: Women Empowered through COPD Awareness” campaign. This acknowledgment highlights RHA’s ongoing dedication to raising awareness about chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) among women and advocating for improved health outcomes nationwide.

The WECARE campaign was launched to address the growing impact of COPD on women, who are often underdiagnosed and underserved in respiratory health. Through a combination of educational outreach, community engagement, and strategic partnerships, RHA successfully reached thousands of women, providing them with essential information about COPD prevention, management, and support.

“The WECARE campaign reflects our dedication to empowering women with the knowledge and resources they need to manage their lung health effectively,” said Rob Anderson, President and CEO of RHA. “We are incredibly proud that RHA can stand alongside some of the biggest names in public relations. This recognition is a testament to the passion, dedication, and creativity of our team and proves that with a strong mission and impactful work, even a smaller organization can make a big difference.”

The Golden Trumpet Awards are among the most prestigious honors in the field of public relations and communications. Hosted annually by the Publicity Club of Chicago, the Golden Trumpet Awards honor the top campaigns, strategies, and innovations in advocacy, media relations, digital communications, and crisis management. These awards set the standard for excellence, showcasing the creativity, effectiveness, and impact of organizations, agencies, and professionals as they shape public perception and deliver powerful messages.
